Most people want two things in life: to be healthy and to be happy. Almost everything else comes after that. And yet in our modern busy world, stress and related illnesses are almost at epidemic levels.

As a result of continuing member feedback, CUMA will host two Wellbeing Workshops in the coming months. One on November 15th in Killashee House Hotel, Naas and the second on January 24th in Radisson Blu, Little Island, Cork. The event will be facilitated by The Wellness Crew who promote and deliver wellness in the workplace between the 4 key pillars of Employee Wellness – Food, Fit, Mind & Money. We should think about employee wellness as a series of interconnecting elements that come together to determine the overall wellbeing of an individual, ie the Manager.

Mindfulness will help you learn what your body & mind do when you are under pressure & critically, show you how to deal with it. Taking a simple approach, we will learn how to spot stress coming and disarm it throughout the day so it doesn’t build up and overwhelm you.
